Great Wall Mahjong Connect – Hangame Flash

Great Wall (만리장성) is a mahjong tile-matching puzzle game from Hangame Flash. Clear the board before time runs out by connecting matching tiles. The game features 40 levels with three stages each, offering 120 stages along a map inspired by the Great Wall.

Each pair must be connected by a clear path that does not pass through other tiles. That path can make no more than two right-angle turns. Matching tiles do not have to sit next to each other—the empty space around the layout can also provide a valid route. Use the mouse to select two tiles or drag from one to the other.

Alongside single-player mode, the game includes two-player cooperative play on the same board. Player 1 uses the mouse, while Player 2 moves the selection with the arrow keys and chooses tiles with the spacebar. Only Player 1 can use items, so coordinating tile searches and item use adds another layer to the puzzle.

Five types of items can help with difficult layouts. The Sword of Courage removes one tile, the Hourglass adds time, and the Telescope reveals a hint for a matching pair. Shuffle rearranges the tiles, while Lightning removes five pairs. Opening a ROLL on the map also provides items.

Item quantities reset when you advance to the next level, so make use of them across the current level’s three stages. Watch the REST counter to see how many pairs are available to connect. Rather than removing the first match you spot, consider which pair will open useful paths through the remaining tiles.

Is Great Wall game playable on mobile?

Great Wall can be played with a mouse or touch controls in single-player mode (1P). Two-player mode (2P) requires a keyboard, so it cannot be played using touch controls alone in a standard mobile web browser.
